Bathed in warm Indian Ocean current, and with about 1600 kilometres of palm-fringed coastline, Sri Lanka is a mind blowing surfing Paradise. The main patches for surfing are the southwest, south and east coasts. The most famous areas are Unawatuna, Mirissa and Hikkaduwa in the southwest, Weligama in the south and Arugam Bay in the east.
